Handing over of 275 toilets to the plantation community on October 6, 2024, as part of a major sanitation project. This impactful project was coordinated by the Rotary Club of Kandy (District 3220) in collaboration with the International Medical Health Organization (IMHO-U.S.A.), with generous support from international sponsors, including the Rotary Club of West Sacramento, U.S.A., and Rotary Districts 5180, 5450, and 7890. The project was made possible through a grant from The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International (GG-2231766). Dr. Avanti Sri Nissanka Karunaratna, President of the Rotary Club of Kandy, and Prof. Amal Randhir Karunaratna, along with Rotary members such as Mr. Gamini participated in the event, which was led by Mr. Kandiah Vigneshwaran, Project Director of IMHO.
