Clean water (as well as toilets and good hygiene!) is what keeps us all healthy. They should be a normal part of daily life for everyone, everywhere – but they aren’t. IMHO USA, The Penney family & Team Solihull (UK) are joining up to deliver pure drinking water to 1500 individuals in the Nyanza division of up-country area in Sri Lanka. The project consists of reservoir construction, pipeline installing and a state-of-the-art water treatment facility ensuring the water quality is up to global health standards. Mr. Henry Amalraj, of Franklin Construction Company masterminded an ingenious water harnessing and filtration system. The Nyanza Division Water Supply Project stands as a beacon of hope and progress for the region. The total cost is $6300.We plan to continue this project at many other sites and other charities have shown interest in joining in.
