A fun reading program is a structured and engaging way to help children develop a love for reading. These programs often include: Reading books suited to the child’s age and reading level, earning rewards or badges for reading a certain number of books or minutes, playing games or doing activities related to the stories, improving reading and comprehension skills through interactive tools, joining group events like storytelling, book clubs, or reading challenges. These programs: Make reading exciting and playful, Boost vocabulary and imagination, encourage consistency and good reading habits and Build confidence and academic success. Fun reading bee program at Kilinochchi Central College was held on the 6th of July 2025. About 2500 students from grades 3 to 5 from 25 schools in Kilinochchi North and South will benefit from this program funded by IMHO USA.
