Dear Friends and well-wishers of IMHO;
The IMHO Board is deeply saddened to learn about the recent attacks in Sri Lanka on April 21, 2019 when churches, hotels, and other sites were rocked by explosions resulting in heart-wrenching loss of lives and serious injuries. Our heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and our thoughts and prayers are with the injured for a quick recovery.
IMHO has been in constant touch with our partners and contacts as to the arising needs to help the affected as a result of the cataclysmic events on the 21st of April. The requests are slowly coming in and IMHO is planning to support the following projects at this moment and is appealing to you for your donations.
1. Consumable items such as bandages, dressing material, antibiotics for Burn Care at the Batticola Teaching Hospital. Lots of affected sustained burns and it would be a long healing process.
2. Psychological Counseling to the survivors and their immediate relatives, in the Batticola area. This will be a long term program as well.
3. Funds left over will be earmarked, kept in a separate account and will be used only for the needs of the individuals affected, as the requests come in from other parts of the country. 100% of the donations will be spent on helping the victims and their families.
Please send your tax deductible donations to IMHO, P O Box 341466, Columbus, Ohio 43234.
