Successful Completion of Intensive Training Program on Behavioral Interventions for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. A comprehensive three-day training program on Behavioral Interventions for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder was successfully conducted in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, bringing together a diverse group of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving care for children on the autism spectrum. The training was led by esteemed experts from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, USA – Dr. Kim Kruegher, Alli Royalty, and Madison Meyer, who traveled to share their knowledge and expertise in this vital area. Over 40 participants, including psychiatrists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, pediatricians, and other professionals working with children, took part in this intensive and enriching program. The event was meticulously organized by Professor S. Sivayokan (Department of Psychiatry), Kaveri, and Sumi, who played key roles in coordinating and facilitating this outstanding initiative. This training marks an important step in enhancing the skills and understanding of professionals working with children with autism, ultimately contributing to better outcomes and support for affected families.
