A new school building at Thiruvalluvar Tamil Maha Vidyalayam in Maskeliya (Vaalamalai Estate) was officially inaugurated on June 8, 2025, by Prof. Nadarajah Sreeharan a Trustee of the Manitha Neyam Trust, and was funded through the generous sponsorship of the Krishanthan Family from the UK, at a total cost of approximately 10 million Sri Lankan Rupees. Mr. Sivananthaselvan, Principal, Mr. Mithiran Sangaralingam Trustee of the Manitha Neyam Trust, Mr. Kandiah Vigneshwaran, Project Director of IMHO, and Mr. M.P. Chandreseharan, Plantation Education Coordinator of IMHO attended the function. This will benefit more than 310 school children. It also marks another successful joint initiative between IMHO and the Manitha Neyam Trust in their shared mission to uplift underserved communities through education and development.
