The opening ceremony of the Water Supply & Sanitation Project was held on 1st of April 2025 at Sri Lanka Prison, Batticaloa with the presence of Dr. Rajam Theventhiran, President, IMHO USA; Dr. Theventhiran, Advisory Council Member, IMHO USA; Mr. Prabakaran, Superintendent of Prison, Batticaloa and other officials. This project aimed to address the water and sanitation problems faced by the inmates for several years, ultimately benefiting over 700 inmates. The project was fully funded and implemented by IMHO USA with the facilitation of Sri Lanka Prison, Batticaloa. The total cost of the project is nearly 2.02 million LKR.
