USA Fundraising Goal of $20,000
IMHO USA, Assist RR UK and Well-Being (Sri Lanka) will work in partnership to raise funds, identify those most in need, implement the building of water wells and deliver on their efficacy.
We will also partner with the Agricultural Faculty of Jaffna University to provide the beneficiaries with seed packages and training in optimising the growth of high yield crops for personal and livelihood benefits.
A typical shallower dug-out well currently costs about $600 and a deeper tubed borehole well costs approximately $1200.
Should individual or family donors sponsor a well in full, we will include a naming plaque and send photos in return. The Board of IMHO USA will very generously match everything you donate, up to $20,000. This paves the way for us to double our impact, if we can reach our target.Read More…..

Patient has been discharged from the hospital and is doing extremely well. Dr. Sathiyamoorthy Director JTH played a key role in getting the legal necessities accomplished and making the resources available as needed. Very many thanks to our donors as their donations helped to develop the Operating Room and the High Dependancy Unit to care for the patient.
As Sri Lanka descends further into its worst economic and political crisis in 70 years it is children who are suffering the most. (Forbes 07/07/2022). Nearly half of all the children in Sri Lanka require some form of humanitarian assistance, according to UNICEF’s appeal for support. Even before the current crisis, Sri Lanka had the world’s seventh highest child malnutrition rates and was second in South Asia for child wasting under the age 5. Two in five babies were not being fed the minimum acceptable diet.
